Service Description

Junior Vocal (Grade 4+) Focus on developing the young or untrained voice for singing, choir and worship. Students will learn the elements of good vocal technique, including: breath control, posture, pitch, diction, clarity of tone, clean vowels and performance techniques, as well as basic musical terminology and an introduction to solfege. Students will also sing in two-part harmony and learn to navigate printed music. Students at all levels will learn a variety of songs and perform an age-appropriate sacred song at the term-end recital. Vocal placement is predominantly by age, but you may contact us further to discuss the previous musical experience. There is $25 uniform fee/yr for the girls.
